I so look forward to Tuesdays now! Yes, I do know that I can organize and clean on other days besides Tuesdays, but I know I have to do something I have been putting off when Tuesday rolls around. I have taken on two huge projects the past two Tackle It Tuesdays. Today I decided to do something I have been needing to do but was not quite as huge of a project as re-organizing a whole room. Trust me, I have several more rooms to tackle for future Tuesdays.
I have mentioned my friend Lauryn before. She created a group on Facebook called The Domestic Diva's Recipe Exchange. There are 154 people in the group and lots of recipe swapping going on! I have been meaning to go through the posts and write down all the recipes that I like and want to try. I have an empty recipe book that Lauryn gave me a couple of years ago that is now full of recipes just waiting for me to give them a try. This was my project for today's Tackle It Tuesday. Here is a recipe I got from the group on facebook. We cooked this tonight:
Homemade Lasagna
Ingredients:
1lb hamburger meat
1 jar spaghetti sauce (your choice)
6 lasagna noodles
2 packs of cheese (italian blend)
disposable lasagna pan (I use this for the depth)
Brown the meat and set the noodles to boil. Preheat oven to 350
Mix sauce with meat.
Layering:
thin layer of sauce on the bottom
noodles (three)
meat sauce
cheese (one whole pack)
noodles (three)
meat sauce
cheese (one whole pack)
cook on 350 until cheese is melted
****After cooking this recipe tonight I would use 2 jars of sauce and add a layer of ricotta cheese****
I remember giving you that recipe book! I think I included a couple with it! So glad it is getting use from you and the family! So how was the lasagna???
ReplyDeleteIt was good! Just would make those changes of more sauce and a layer of ricotta
